Applying for jobs on www.indeed.com I came across a "Personal Assistant" position for the company Arcadia Acres, LLC. I applied and a week later I get a text from Mr. James ******* the hiring manager at Arcadia Acres LLC. There was an online interview, everything very professional until the very end. I was emailed I9 paperwork and two other documents (W-4 and something else). Very strange as I just completed an online job offer for another company and this did not at all compare. IT LOOKED LIKE A SCAM ARTIST PUT THIS TOGETHER. I asked for info about the company and he gave me the web address http://arcadiaacres.com. Complete scam website, there was not one shred of information on this website. His responses were very short. He told me to contact him if I had any problems with the paperwork. I was asked what my bank institution was and if I wanted to be paid weekly or bi-weekly. Training for one week paid at $18.75 and $25.75 after that. ALSO STATED THAT AFTER MY PAPERWORK WENT THROUGH I WOULD GET A CHECK IN THE MAIL TO COVER EXPENSES FOR A COMPUTER, PRINTER, SCANNER, AND ALL THE AFFILIATED PROGRAMS THAT WERE TO BE USED. I called the number he messaged me on before I did anything with the paperwork (way to fishy). As soon as I called someone hung up and I received an immediate text message that said I was not permitted to call. He said "We will call you when we need to. If you have a problem, please state them here." I soon as I told him the whole thing was a scam I called back and the phone number was disconnected. Arcadia Acres LLC out of Missouri is a licensed business and they used the real owners name on their paperwork but this was definitely a SCAM. The name associated with the email address he used was Micheal **********
