An internship job posting on Chegg's  Internships.com. They had a marketing analyst internship and I was selected to be interviewed. They wanted me to download the WIRE messaging app and connect with Kim Oliphant on there. She has a LinkedIn account and their website seemed legitimate. The interview seemed very, very real, and it was also a hard interview. It was only done through messaging though. After I passed, they said they would send me a check to buy the necessary supplies and software packages. At this point, I called and email the company, which did not answer. The English phrasing also felt weird at times, and I was always waiting a long time for Kim's response. When I questioned her about the check and how to guarantee that it would not be fraudulent, she had nothing for proof.
