Ordered a footswitch for a guitar amp for which I paid $36.99. Nothing arrived for weeks. Then, a package arrived and upon opening I discovered not a footswitch but a cheap gold ring (not gold). I emailed them twice and each time they asked for photos of the item and the packaging which I supplied twice with details of order numbers, dates and photos of what I ordered and what I received instead. They replied that they had “ forwarded it to our despatch dept” adding that it may take some time to sort out. A month later I emailed them again. Almost instantly got a reply saying “ please keep the lovely ring of great value with our compliments and we offer you a refund of 20% of what you paid”. I asked if they ever had the footswitch in the first place, told them the “ring of great value” was in the trash and they could keep the insulting 20% refund.
Never once did they mention any item by name or number and it is obvious that this tactic nets them $1000’s every day. Once bitten etc...Got an email this morning thanking me for my email and asking if I still want to go ahead with “your 20% refund? If so, we will pass it on to our finance dept for processing but this may take some time” They are still advertising the footswitch on their website...for $11.99!

I found a kitchen item I needed on this website. I read the website description and the item had what seemed like several legitimate product reviews. So I mistakenly placed an order. My credit card was promptly charged for the item but I never received any confirmation of my order or of it being shipped. In my account the status said "pending". I contacted the customer service via email (there is no phone number) three times over 5 days and never received a response. The charge on my credit card was from www.synnjhy.com, which appears to be yet another scam website.
