I searched "apply for global entry" on Google and this website was the first one that popped up. It looked very real. They collect all the same information as Homeland Security, expect they want to charge extra service fees and they said they accept PayPal. Make sure you this website when applying for the real global entry: ttp.cbp.dhs.gov. MAKE SURE THE URL SAYS .GOV

In an attempt to apply for Global entry, I googled the application and clicked on the top link. Turns out it was an ad. I paid an extra $149.99 through Paypal, plus the $100 on my regular credit card to apply. I entered my passport info and driver's license info as well as current and past addresses. I feel like a fool as I'm sure most people who fall for these things do. I have put a freeze on my credit through 2 of the 3 credit bureaus and am disputing the charge with Paypal. I will be watching my credit like a hawk. I changed some passwords and reported my credit card stolen as well. I emailed the company as they have an email address on their website that specifically says we will consider all refunds. Fingers crossed that I did everything I could to prevent identity theft.

I didn't realize that this wasn't the actual "Global Entry" for the government. It really looked official. I entered my personal information, but exited out halfway through the application process. Do NOT know whether or not the site will use my information for "Identity Theft".

The site is not legit. They just want to steal your information if you are trying to apply for TSA precheck or global entry. Make sure you go to the .gov customs website, not any other.

Hi, on 01/26/21 I have decided to apply for GLOBAL ENTRY, which is a:
Description:
(Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. Members enter the United States through automatic kiosks at select airports. ... Travelers must be pre-approved for the Global Entry program).
And when I went online to fill the form I ended up doing it in the first website that appears which was: www.applyforglobalentry.com and I filled all the informations asked and the there was 2 feed to pay, first one $100 in my credit card and another one $139 (Venmo). I did both payments and when I finished I realized that I done it in the wrong GLOBAL ENTRY website, I got scammed. The real website for GLOBAL ENTRY is: www.globalentry.gov
At the same time I tried to contact Venmo to get my $139 back and the $100 never was charged from my credit card. That means that, the real fee for apply for Global Entry is $100 and it was not charge, but the amount of $139 through Venmo it was. I realized that it was scam because no company will ask you to pay through Venmo.
I’m trying to got my $139 money back from Venmo, which the charge appears with the company name: IVT SERVICES.
I never got any email from this company after the transaction, I don’t know their email or phone number because in their website there isn’t this information.
I’m reporting this company as Scammer.

Googled "renew Global Entry" and was too quick to click on the first link. The website promises a service to apply for your renewal for global entry, but instead gets a fee and all your personal information.

Wanted to apply for global entry and clicked on the top link thinking it was where I was supposed to go. After submitting the application, I realized the second fee was a scam and not a required fee. Looked the site up on this page and found it to be a scam.

This site AKA IVT services appears to be the same as the Global Entry official website. It even has the same graphics, etc. However, the take all you personal information just like the Global Entry website at a charge of $139 plus the Global entry fee of $100. No one to answer phones, etc. Be warned - they are obviously targeting the young, old and those that are unfamiliar with Global Entry

I applied for Global Entry online thinking that I was on a govenment website because the scammer's website was very similar to government websites. After I entered all my credit card, home address, and passwords for Global Entry and Pay Pal, the website listed that it was not a government website, but a private website.
It charged me $139.99 in addition to the $100.00 fee for the government.
I normally am very careful about these sites, but this particular one was very tricky in its appearance and processes to mimick the government's website.
Thank you.

This site is not government site. They charge additional on top of government fee. This seems to be fake since government fee is not charged on my credit card but their service fee charged. asked through refund but not sure it will come back.

I Googled Global Entry, thinking the top result would take me to the official CBP.gov website to apply. Instead, it was a website claiming to be a third party that could expedite my application -- and needed both a credit card and PayPal account to submit the transaction. It wasn't until I never received an email that I realized this was a scam. They also took Drivers License and other personal identification for possible identity theft.
