I was contacted by APPLOFT as they offered to resolve a compute problem and they offered a three year service for $349.99. They would only accept a cashiers check in that amount mailed to them at APPLOFT LLC. That was in September of 2018 and at least once a month following that they would call saying that they had detected problems on my computer that could only be fixed by technicians taking my computer on repairing at my residence for $1200.00 each unit. I refused and then in February 2019 they called and wanted to refund my $349.99. They needed to access my computer and on line bank account which I was reluctant to do but they instructed me to input the amount for them to re-imburse me. I input 349.99 but their software changed it to $3349.99. They immediately demanded I repay the $3000.00 mistake by purchasing GOOGLE Play gift cards and give them the numbers. Since the amount of $3349.99 appeared on my account as a debit I did so but after they got their money I went back into my account and the extra $3000.00 was not there as if it never existed. So they are richer by the $3000.00 and I see no way to recoup any of this. I was defrauded by slick lying con artist so beware.
