I found a listing for a fridge on offer up. I made contact and went to go see the fridge, I asked if it was new and if it worked. I was told yes. I gave a deposit and had it delivered less than a week later. I hat same night, it wasn’t working. I called and they sent someone to repair it. The repairman smelled like beer and admitted he’d had 4 beers at dinner before coming To do my repair. The fridge worked that night and stopped working the next day and my food spoiled. I called again and asked for a refund, they told me no. The receipt says no refund but 90 day warranty and 1 year free labor. Also, if the fridge cannot be fixed in those 90 days, a replacement is offered. The warranty does NOT transfer to the new product. So they sell you trash, and replace it with another piece of trash and that ends the warranty with them. I’ve seen reviews and they also own a company called , which also has a lot of complaints against them. They only take cash. Is this even legal? Don’t they have to report income to the IRS? I know I do!
