Very rude over the phone and impatient with me - did not show up at appointment time, and when I contacted, they promised, and held me up for two full days - then finally arrived, very disgruntled, repaired the appliance (microwave) and left - extremely rude, slammed my door.

I tried first to speak with them about what happened and receive partial refund for keeping me waiting for 1.5 days - but the “manager” was not available and the one who answered the phone was rude and hung up on me. I sent a ScamPulse.com complaint first - but the All Appliance Repair business called me back to indicate that it was the wrong business and that those posing as such were not legitimate. I attempted to track down the cats who left me with the invoice for payment, but they deny having serviced my address. When I called them and described the incident, the man denied everything and told me to ‘call the number on the invoice’ but when I did there was no answer.

Came to repair my LG Fridge which is not cooling and just looked at it and said the Compressor Fan is not working. I put a deposit of $150 and he was to come 4 days later. He comes changes something and I pay him a further $200 but the fridge is still not working. I call him the next day and Lucky becomes very rude and says he can come by and remove the part he put it. He becomes very nasty. So basically am out $350 and my fridge is still not working. This guy has been scamming people from Maryland to DC to VA for a long time not sure why no one has caught on.

I called a company that I found on the Internet to fix my Thermador Double Oven. A young man came to my house on April 19, and told me he could fix only one oven. He removed the motherboard and said he was sending it off and it would be fixed and would take about 3 weeks, but it might be back in two weeks. I gave him a $400 check as a deposit. (I had my oven fixed about two years ago by another company and they took our the motherboard and I sent it off. t took about two weeks.and then he repaired it and it was $1000.)

I called in three weeks and for three days in a row, I was told to call back the next day. My husband called and they told him they would put a rush on the part and would have it by this past Thursday. I called on May 19th and said it had been one month, so wanted a refund. They said they would check on the part and call me back and of course they did not call back. My husband called this morning and they told him that it must be another company with the same We are now out $400 and the motherboard that is probably worth some money.

I needed to get my oven repaired and signed up with Thumbtack to find someone to repair my oven. Shortly after I was contacted by text from Bernard of Gadson Home Services. Bernard said that for $110 dollars that he schedule the repair that same day. He requested that the payment be sent in advance through Zelle and once it was sent to text an image of the completed transaction. After the transaction was complete I was sent an image of a receipt with the Thumbtack letterhead. The receipt also included a refundable safety fee for an additional $185. Bernard then requested that I send the additional money, which would be immediately returned on completion of the repair. After the money was sent, no repairman ever showed up and I could not contact Bernard afterwards. Also when I checked on Thumbtack the next day, that company was no longer listed on Thumbtack.

This is the exact same thing that happened to me on 12/31/22 for an appliance repair to my oven I two paid $125 and no one showed up and I haven’t been able to reach Bernard.
I wish I would’ve read this before.

I called the business number for appliances repair on Saturday, November 12, 2022, because my fridge was leaking. I found the service online. The number is 1 (877) 439-5079. I got an appointment the same day. Two African American guys came. Very friendly. I had to pay $400 for a new part (a "diffuser") by check. They came back on 11/14/22 to make the "repair" and charged another $318.36. Obviously, the fridge continued to leak. On top the scammer faked my check, created a "clone" check for $500, deposited BOTH checks and made $900. I never received an invoice for the new fake part. The name of the scammers are Rondel Anderson and Anthony. They provided a fake invoice with an email of my [email protected]. I am not sure if this is email address is real. According to Yelp (which I read too late) these people are at this scam for a while.
