Appliance Doctor Reports & Reviews (1)

- Norfolk, VA, USA

Located the company via the Yellow Pages, serving the Hampton Roads area. I have an oven over 40 years old in my home needing repair. After being infected with COVID-19 as a senior citizen this summer and spending 20 days in ICU, I was happy to survive the virus and excited about the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. I decided to get my oven repaired. I searched the Yellow Pages and found the “Appliance Doctor”, Eric Vautrin, owner. Eric also is also operates under “Supreme Appliance Service”. I setup an appointment and the owner Eric Vautrin came for the service call. He inspected the oven and said it would be over $600 for the parts and labor and he needed half the money in advance. I wrote him a check for $325. He gave me a receipt under the name “Appliance Doctor” and he took parts from the oven, cashed the check and I never saw him again. After numerous attempts to reach him by phone (by the way he never answers his phone and his voicemail is always full); he finally called me back and he scheduled a time to return and complete the repair. He never showed up. After multiple missed appointments, he said he would return my money and parts but I have not heard from him since. Seniors and everyone else beware of this company.
