Apple MacBook Giveaway Scam/Fraud Reports & Reviews (1)

- Fort Lee, NJ, USA • Apr 22, 2025

I became a victim of Apple MacBook Giveaway Scam/Fraud. On 4/17/2024 I responded to an ad on the meetup.con group chat from Wison at 310-421-4920. I saw the same text later one by Mary Lucie regarding a free Apple MacBook Air 2023 in good condition. I texted and said I was interested. She asked me to send $83.00 for shipping by FedEx and later asked for $100.00 for insurance to be paid to Lohis Aruya as a friend on PayPal. I did not receive an Apple MacBook. The person asked me for another $200.00 to be returned by FedEx man in cash.

I refused. I attach my correspondence and an original ad from the person conducting fraud.
