I received emails from "Apple" about purchases on my account. My account which is locked can't be accessed. Three emails each lisated different sources for the price. Two were VISA cards not my own, and the last was billed to store credit. When I spoke to the actual Apple company, they had no history of any transactions on my account because it has been locked for quite some time now. Also, I never had a credit card attaches to my account, and if I did, I would have been charged. The last four digits of the two VISA cards listed are surely not mine. They have called my land line at least 3 times today with the under the number 209-215-7859 and name of Kella J. They give an option to talk to someone, though I always hang up. They also say to call am 855 number for more information but all the Apple numbers I could find start with 800. They emailed me from [email protected]. the actual Apple email is [email protected]. I know they have no access to my money or anything, I just need the harassment to stop, and would like to report it so hopefully others won't suffer. When I called, the gentleman I spoke to told me that a woman called with the same exact complaint yesterday. Of course he didn't give me her personal information so I can not say if this is a local scam, but evidently I'm not the first. They did not take my money, they just tried to make it seem like it. No transactions from Apple appear on my bank statements. I think if you stay on the phone, whoever is on the line will try to get personal information from you. Thank you for your time.
