He just tried to scam me too, Benjamin fuller , who has a Skype text interview and sent me 2500$ ? When most companies ship the necessary equipment to you.

Got a message for a job interview. It was $20 training $35 after training by a guy named Benjamin Fuller. Sent me a check for equipment to my email. Bank said it was a scam so I told them. Kept sending things saying they weren't. Calling my phone on Sundays 11pm. Then I blocked them

I received a texted stating I would be a great fit for the company ! I was contacted by a guy named Mr. Micheal shelled. During the process I had to download Skype and was contacted by a man named Benjamin Fuller. I was told trading would be $20/hr and then I’d be getting paid $35/hr. I knew something wasn’t right when he said that they’d EMAIL me a check and to print it off. I was suppose to deposit the check into my account. I did tell them who I banked with but never sent any info about my routing and account number. I did see appdynamics was a real company and thought it was legit until they mentioned the check being emailed. So I started researching again and I found this website. So now I know it’s not real. Thank you to all who’ve posted. I know not to get my hopes up anymore when this happens.

So same thing happened and whenever i apply on indeed this usually happens a lot. They find my profile and reach me out through text messages
Any interview that are usually through chat are a scam. They don’t show their face or you don’t hear their voice. So there is nobody to blame

I did not get very far. Same as y'all I got a text that then wanted me to download a app. I downloaded whats app and during interview googled them and found this. It is wonderful that good people can help stop them. I already deleted and blocked numbers but the "HR contact" was Reshawn Cremshaw.

I am so happy I looked here before replying! I just had a bad feeling when the name came from a gentleman but the picture is of a female business woman. I'm so sorry this happened to y'all. I've attached screenshots of the exact verbiage of my email. Thank y'all for not letting me get my hopes up or having to go through all the negative issues.

I was doing an "interview" or so I thought with Mr.Nick Bogaty. This person told me I got the job. In reality it was scam. I was told to deposit a check. Little did I know it was counterfeit. Now I know to not trust these people.

I received a text message that initially stated "Is this (myname)", and I responded with (?).
The reply stated that "I'm Mrs. Ashley Bohanon from AppDynamics Company. This is to inform you that your resume which was posted, has been reviewed and accepted for an online interview. Are you still interested in the position?

The position available is "Customer Service/AdministrativeAssistant, Data Entry and Virtual Assistant. The job is available in your area for $35/hr Full Time/Part time. This is strictly an online job from home. I believe you do understand me?
The message went on "Do you have access to a Telegram Messenger on my phone , Desktop or Laptop in order to proceed with the job briefing and to talk more about the pay, company, Roles and benefits?
I asked "Ashley - are you an employee of AppDynamics? and she replied "no - I will be referring you to the employer". She wanted me to download Telegram and let her know when I had it downloaded. (I already had it on my phone so I told her that I was ready).

"her" message then went on to say that "I need you to log into your telegram messenger app now and send a messge to Mrs. Angie Mistretta using her user I.D. (@hiringAppdynamic) or this number (424) 379 2463 kindly make use of the User I.D. or Number now to Add Her up As she is online now ready to begin with the job briefing/interview and let me know once done or having issues contacting her ..."

The message went on to say that if I was "finding it hard to add her up...you can send me your full name and the number that you use in registering the app while I forward it to her while she add you up and message you..." (I unfortunately did send my name and cell phone number).

the reply was "Information received I just forwarded it to Mrs Mistretta and she will be contacting yo shortly... Notify me once you are in touch with her Okay?"
"Alright do have a blissful interview ahead, do remember that you are required to always keep tab of your telegram messenger for rapid response back to her Understood?"

This incident occurred at approximately 6:45pm EST, and I proceeded with the interview. During the "interview" I did ask if this was a scam and whether or not she was a real person and if she could email me a copy of the job description and of the interview, and the response simply was "(my name) this is no scam we at AppDynamics we indulge in such (at which point this message was cut off)"

One of the questions asked during the "interview" was if I had a checking account and the name of the bank so that they could verify that their system could work with it. I proceeded with all interview questions and then her Next message was "Answer's received, We will have to put your interview answers into further consideration

Do have in mind that you are required to always keep track to your telegram chat for rapid response back to my messages.. Angie Mistretta, [16.09.21 20:02]

I asked how soon it would be before I might hear the results of this interview, and the response was "You are required to get in touch with me Tomorrow morning 9am your time for the result of your interview Make sure you are online Tomorrow And message me once it s time, be safe (my name ...)"

During the interview I did respond that I had a checking account, and gave the name of my bank (no account number however).

It is currently 6:35am EST time here, and I will be contacting my bank as soon as they open this morning, with the information regarding this Telegram interview.

I also was contacted by the hr Craig Rosen suppose to been. Same beginning and all, but wanted me to get on Telegram app for interview. I got on let them begin& then politely told them thanks, but no thanks cause during online research I saw them on this website listed as a scam. I told them goodbye & blocked them. Thanks for this website& reviews. Anything sounds too true to be good, believe your first instinct. And how they don't know your name or location if they reviewed your resume online & approved it. But, they don't know who they interviewing.

example of their messages
[email protected] - email that sent the check

Both numbers were looked up and are in Compton and Inglewood, California

Exactly as above, but they used telegram messenger and asked me to send bitcoin for equipment. Be safe, y'all, and always report the scammers to the government and your state/province. They used Angie Mistretta, Dan Wright, and Gregory Clayton.

I received a text from James Harrison from AppDynamics Company. Stating this is to inform you that your resume which was posted on (Crelate), has been reviewed and approved for an online interview. Asking me if I'm still interested in the position? This whole text is a red flag for me. I know I've never set up an account with Crelate. I researched AppDynamics Company which is a legitimate company however, Crelate "is not a recruiter, the sell recruiting software". I didn't bother to proceed any further, I spent enough time doing the research first instead of blindly going in.

I got a text message : I'm Mrs Jill Brown from (Appdynamics company) we posted on (Ziprecruiter) based on your "Resume" that has been approved for the position of Administrative Assistant/Customer Service Representative and we would like to conduct an interview for you to explain more. Are you still interested in the position?

I was contacted my "Mrs. Elizabeth Adams" in regards to a Virtual Admin/Assistant position with AppDynamics Company saying my resume has been reviewed and approved for an online interview. She told me to contact Craig Rosen on Whatsapp for an interview. That's an immediate red flag for me. I contacted Craig and told him I was interested in an interview. He asked me a lot of basic questions regarding my history and experience. After concluding the interview, he said it needed further review and to contact him the next day at 9am. I did so and he said I was qualified and was hired. He wanted my full name, home address, phone number and email. He then said that the company would send me a check to purchase all of the necessary equipment and software needed to set up my home office. He emailed me a check from [email protected] which was another red flag. He wanted me to deposit the check and then send him the deposit receipt to verify that I wouldn't just run off with the money. He emphasized that he wanted my trust to go forth with the hiring process a few times. At this point it all seemed very sketchy to me. He insisted that I print the check and deposit it but at the time I was at work and I wouldn't even consider using the work printer for personal business like that anyway so I told him I would have to wait until I got home to print it. This allowed me to research if other people got scammed this way and I found this website which others have detailed the same experience. It was at that point that it all became clear to me that it wasn't worth any of my time. I reported the Whatsapp conversation and blocked him. I've been scammed before and this experience was no different. I didn't sign any paperwork nor did they run a background check on me or ask for any professional references. I didn't even submit a resume for that company so they must have found my resume on some recruiting website. It was all weird and I'm glad other people have detailed their experiences so I could quickly determine that this was bogus. Craig Rosen does have a LinkedIn account and seems legit but I bet this person was impersonating him to seem legit. I encourage everyone to do their research about obscure or relatively unknown companies and job offers before making any choices especially about a career. Please be cautious and be safe everyone!

I applied to several internship/job opportunities online and received a text message stating that they were interested in me and my resume and would like to have an interview with me through Google Hangouts. I was provided an email to contact to and continued an interview that was all in text (no video or phone calls). I was given questions to answer and was accepted the next day. I was told that I needed to purchase equipment before I can start my training. I was told that the equipment funds were provided by the company and was emailed a check to deposit and to send the funds to a "trusted vendor". I deposited the check and my bank account said the money was available to use. I was given an email by the scammer to send the money to but at first the email provided said that they were not registered to receive the money (I use Chase Bank and the money transfer was through Zelle and they were not registered with Zelle). Then I was given another email to send and the transaction went through. I was then told by the scammer that the company did not provide enough funds and was given another check to deposit. This 2nd check put my bank account on restriction. A few days later, the first check was bounced. Then I searched online and found out that this was a scam.

I received a text message from an individual named James Harrison about a job opportunity. He stated he found my application on Crelate, which is an actual recruiting website. He told me to get ahold of an individual names Russ Harris via a Telegraph Messaging system, which I thought was weird but I did it anyway. I got ahold of Russ via telegraph messaging app and I stated I could set up an interview next week. He proceeded to do the interview via the messaging app, disregarding my request for a video interview. This was on Friday, he told me his team would like at my answers and I was to contact him by Monday my time. Once I contacted him, he stated I had the job. He started to brief me on the job, how to get the equipment, etc. The briefing stated, I would receive the check, deposit it into my account, I would then have to contact the vendor they use and order my own supplies. Once I received all my equipment, I would then meet my new supervisor (no name was given; stated he did not know who it was just yet because of my location) and he would have the new hire paperwork to sign. The home equipment consisted of laptop, scanner, fax machine, printer, phone, software, this is all before I even signed official new hire paperwork. I agreed, he stated the check would be mailed over night and I was to contact him the next day at 0900est to check in to see if I received the check or not. I stated I had not and that the tracking information he provided notified me the check would not arrive until 1200. By this time, I felt extremely off, uneasy even. I looked him and the company up on Linkedin. He has one, the company is legit but it was weird to me that he was entrusting me with company funds before I signed paperwork. By this time, he was nagging me to go check to see if the check arrived yet. By then, I was really skeptical of this, why was he pushing so much for me to get the check into the bank. I asked him if he could send me a copy of the official new hire paperwork on company letterhead via email and he refused. He started to make me feel guilty for questioning him. I told him I didn't feel comfortable putting company funds into my bank account without an official company letterhead sent to me. He didn't do that, he continue to make me feel guilty. Once I told him I was no longer accepting the job, he told me how much time and effort he put into talking with me via the messaging app. He told me to shred the check and he DELETED all of our conversation over the messaging app instantly. Be careful! Just because someone is real doesn't mean someone else isn't using their identity to scam people.

I was contacted by 2 different people one texted me and stated that he came across my resume on Simplyhire and his hiring manager was interested in interviewing me via the telegram I signed on and started a conversation with the “hiring manager” everything seemed legit they started a new platform inwhich they were hiring for at home employment I looked up the company several times appdynamics is a real company but then I had a gut feeling that something was not what it seemed when I was told I needed at least $50 bucks in my bank account so for accounting to deposit any checks I didn’t give my account info to them yet but asked why I would need a specific amount of money in my account to get paid that question went unanswered and he stated he would work something out with accounting I then just decided to call the company and neither of the people that contacted me work there.
