Type of a scam Phishing
Received an email stating that a purchase from my Apple ID account was made from an unfamiliar device and to click here to view the invoice. The invoice showed a purchase made from Dynamite Fishing World Games in the amount of $89.99 for a game named "11000 Dynamite Dollars" billed to a Christopher Michaud with the address 19 Phair Street, Presque Isle, ME 04769-2722.
The email gave instructions to follow a link within it's contents to dispute the purchase or stop payment on the purchase. I did not click on the link to dispute or cancel because it appeared to be a phishing scam and I had no intentions of giving information needed to cancel or dispute the purchase. Wanted to forward the email to ScamPulse.com but did not have an email address to the Monroe, LA office to forward as a phishing scam. The email address that it came from was fake. The email address is acc.ahrOchm6ly9t.bgccsd7454005.2224134@uywerjerw.activityawdi.org
