Received a phone call from an individual claiming they were with "APO" and stated that they support police. Then proceeded to state that they accept donations of $150 or $35, and asked me which one I would prefer to donate. When I responded that I did not have the means to donate at this time, they immediately hung up the phone. If this was truly a reputable phone call I believe they would have at least said thanks anyways before hanging up. Also, there was a long delay between my responses and then the responses from the person who called which makes me believe they were not calling from the actual number that showed up on my caller ID. This just did not seem like a legitimate charity call and hopefully this helps others from being scammed.
