Contacted me in April. I owe net credit they said my loan was sold to them. Been sending $209.90 to them since April only get a recording to leave a message no actual person when I attempt to call them concerning my balance need to get my money back big mistake should have made them give me proof before trusting them I feel really violated.

Called and said we owed a debt, which we did. Paid them four payments and found out it was a scam. We contacted the original creditor and they never heard or this company. We have filed a complaint with the attorney general in NY as well as the FBI and BBB.

I received several calls from someone named Katie stating she was from API and was trying to get an statement from me or my attorney. They called my brothers and told them that I listed them as a reference (LIES!). I finally called back and they were threatening to take the matter to court to garnish my wages if I didn't make a down payment by the end of the month and monthly payments after that. The debt is real but after reading this is speaking with my mom who had the same experience with them, I now know that this is a scam. My mom was telling me to google them but the only coming up were several reports of a scam with the same or similar stories. I called to obtain address and the one provided led me to a UPS store. When I called back to confirm I had the address correct, the same address was given. When I told the person on the phone that the address led me to a UPS store, I asked him if they were located inside a UPS store and proceeded to tell me that they were "next door to a UPS store". I told him that the UPS store has that address listed as theirs and he said he didn't know why that was. I am not alone in believing this is a scam. Please investigate.

These people keep calling me saying i owe a debt for a payday loan i did not pay back and the requested amount was $475.12. I asked if i owe this send me the original contract that i signed, but was told they did not have it, but they have proof i owe this.

Man by the name of David Parks contacted my boyfriend, we missed the call (boy i wish i hadnt called back) the gentle stated that my boyfriend intentionally took the loan out with the intent to not pay back (we made payments on this loan but fell on really hard times) and that if we didnt settle this now an attorney would proceed with charges for attempting to defraud a loan company. He refused to give his business license number stating he could not give out his tax id number, when asked he said we could put 25% or half of the $5800 balance down and make monthly payments of 75$ he sent us an email stating a balance of 5454.52$ with the first payment in the amount of 364$ on feb 6th, the next payment on feb 24th in the amount 1090$ and 37.5$ in bi weekly payments for 5 months and this would pay the balance in full and they would report to the credit bureau the account was paid in full. Scam all the way.

Calls me constantly from different numbers and leaving messages claiming that I owe money. They also stated that they would garnish wages if i did not pay this debt. I called the business that API claimed i owed and the business said the debt was already paid and they never sold my account to anyone and also do not know who API is.

Called my home left message to contact a April Green from CCI at 888-645-2974 ext. 242. Told in message that a credit report was given to their company for a pay day loan I owed and they had no reply from me or my attorney about the case. When I called the number back that was left on my machine. When someone answered they said it was API. When I asked for April Green I was informed by a guy named Chris that she was not available and would handle my questions. He had a lot of my information and told me that I had to pay over $2000.00 for the debt that evening or I would have a judgement placed against me and my pay would get garnished. He told I could only pay via credit or debit card. They do not make arrangements to split up the amount owed to make payments. I was emailed a spoof looking letter with the address I listed above and the call back number, original creditor w/acct number, their acct # and a balance that is incorrect stating that I must return a call to their company within 24hrs. and advise them of my proposed arrangements for payment. Then at the bottom of the page was Sincerely, API Recovery Solutions. No signature or name of the person I talked to demanding I pay that evening or I will get my paycheck garnished. The original call from them was from a 262 area code pay phone and this company is in Amherst NY. according to the e-mail they sent me. I have not received a letter from them in the mail about any of this as requested. They have been calling from numerous numbers and not leaving any messages until lately from the 262 cell phone.

I received a call from API RECOVERY SOLUTIONS stating I owe an original creditor 564.76 which I didn't dispute, because I owed the bill. I agreed to pay 2 payments in the amount of 282.00 for FEB. and MARCH 2016. I gave my debit card associated with my bank account. I never thought first to call the BBB to find out if that business was legit, now I'm out of 564.76. I feel stupid now! Even the payment arrangement letter which I requested didn't have a return address. Please be aware of these low lifes, that's after your hard earned money!!!!

I receive calls from Api Solutions Recovery for a payday from a company I didn't ever heard before. A man named Jason who lasted called me March 4, 2016. Jason said hiss's number is 855-764-8934, ext 250. Claimed that I did an online payday loan for $200 in April 2015 . Claimed that I never paid and now the company say that I until Monday (March 7, 2016) to send them money gram payment for $789. If I don't send the money that I will this Monday for I would have warrant out for my arrest. I asked why haven't I ever receive statement from the company in the mail or email. Jason just talk over me. I Google the company and learn this is a scam. This company have an old address that I moved from 8 months ago and I forwarding on the address. They make it sound that he's in a call center. I'm tired of this company harassing me. I notified the credit bureaus and etc to protect my identity. Jason never gave API 's physical address.

This started 2/2/16

My husband received a call from a lady saying there is a claim against my social security card and I need to call her within 48 hours. She left a number and case number.

The number is 855-764-8934. Ext 237

When you call they do not state the company name but to enter the extention .

She told me I owe a debt from cash call and I have 48 hours before it goes to fresno county court for processing. I told her this is the 1st i am hearing of this. I asked her to put it in writing. She emailed me a letter. She did state that this was a loan on a indian reservation so i could not file bankrupcy on it.

So the letter has thier name but no address API recovery solutions. I can find nothing on bbb on them, i see what looks like a homemade website and many negative things on the internet.

The thing is i did get a loan from cssh call a couple of years ago and my checking account got closed so i never finished paying them. But i never received any letters from them. So if i owe this that is fine i am just afraid this is someone who should not be collecting this money.

Plus this person did speak great English not like the heaving accents callers i have received in the past.
