This company called me on my phone claiming they just purchased a debit fora hospital bill from 2005 for $1782 dollars, now it is $7175. He then said he sees that I have a credit card with capital one and he will charge on my card. He then said he could see I had a loan for my suv (knew make and model bank and amount) and that he would slap a lien on that. Claims he has sent out demand letters to me (which I have never received anything) called and left my mother a message. When I got off the phone I called my bank and checked my credit report (nothing on my report). I went to the hospital to which they said there was a bill and they have no record of me at the hospital in 2005. I called the company back and asked for an employer identification number at which he replied that he could not give me that number. looked up business- nowhere to be found.
