This website supposedly offers a platform to sell furniture. I posted a listing to sell a couch. After my initial post I started to receive emails from interested buyers wanting my phone number to text directly. Then the interested buyer says they want to buy it without seeing it, they are "out of town", offer to pay more than requested so no one else can buy it. There's a supposed payment method on the website called "stripe payments" but the buyer wants instead to send a cashiers check and send a moving company to pick up the couch. I told the buyer they could use Venmo or Zelle, but they insist they can't do that and need to send a check. I had at least 7 offers on the couch and coincidentally all of the interested buyers were "out of town", and needed to send a check. Most of the initial emails from interested buyers were almost exactly the same. Once I figured out it was a scam I confronted a few on them and never heard back. This supposed selling market is a scam and should be closed.
