I signed up online to have my car wrapped in ads for money. They accepted my application and sent me a text message that my auto Wrap package would be delivered shortly to my home address. I received the package through priority USPS mail on April 27, 2022 at 6:45pm it contained a letter with instructions and a check for 3,650.00 made out to me drawn from First Republic bank in Boston MA. The company kept texting me to deposit the check into my bank account and to send the deposit receipt as soon as I have the transaction completed. I went to my bank and they would not allow me to deposit this check into my checking account whatsoever. The branch manager stated that the check was a fake and that this service was a scam that these companies do this and expect money back from the fake check they send out. They promise you money in exchange for wrapping your car with advertisement with a fake check and make you responsible for the fraud they are commiting. This seems so against the law and should be stopped.
