I received an email titled RENEWAL- 499.99 will be automatically deducted from my bank a/c from anti-virus support and if I wanted to unsunbscribe, I had to call them. They stated that when I purchased my computer, I was automatically signed up for their services. I told them that I never subcribed to their services and was told that they provide services like Windows Defender which is on my computer and if I chose to unsubcribe, it would be removed from my computer. I stated Windows Defender is provided by Microsoft and was told that they partner with Microsoft. I told them that Microsoft would never charge 499.99 a month for their services. Why would anyone pay that when they can get anti-virus protection for free or pay Mcaffe and Norton a lot less. He stated that I payed 499.99 6 months ago. I told him that I never did and if he says I did then he needed to show me the receipt. Then he said if I want to unsubcribe to go to google & type in "unsubcribedept.weebly.com" and to download ultraviewer set up and his supervisor will call me in a few minutes. When he called, he was on my computer remotely telling me that they already deducted the money and I had to log onto my bank account to get reimbursed. There was a list of banks and he asked which one was mine and for me to log on. I told him that no company would ever ask for my bank account user name and pw and that this was a scam and if they deducted money out of my account they would already know where I bank.I told him I was going to report this to ScamPulse.com because it was a scam and he hung up. They didn't take any money yet and I hope they don't.
