This site is the 2nd site this person, who says his name is Anthony Merlo and says his wife's name is Erika, has put up. The 1st one was taken down. He sends you pictures of this puppy upon request and even videos of the puppy. He takes your money via Zelle or Cash app and use a shipping agency to "ship" the puppy. 1st a deposit to hold the "puppy", then the money for the puppy. He asks for your name, address, email address, phone number and even a name for the puppy. Then when it's time to ship the puppy using an "agency" called Advanced Express Delivery, he asks for more money for an electronic crate that is now mandatory. (That he claims he didn't know about) This $500 is "refundable upon delivery of the puppy". Once he has that money, the puppy is "shipped" and an email confirming shipment is sent that includes a tracking number and website to track the shipment, is sent to you from the shipping company. There is a fully functional and professional website that shows the progress. (expressadvanceddelivery.com) The tracking shows that the puppy went from one airport to another. Then a phone call and emails from this shipping company saying that the Animal Department in that state requires a Covid-19 vaccine for the puppy for them to proceed with the shipment. This vaccine is $950, needs to be sent immediately to the shipping company via Zelle or Cash app, and is also "refundable upon delivery of the puppy". They make you believe that the puppy is stranded there and will be until you send them the money. They will tell you that you can send them a Walmart Visa card for the payment, even after you tell them you don't have the money. They will even email you "proof" in writing that the money you sent for the crate and vaccine will be refunded. This is in the form of a professional looking letter with a stamp and seal to make it look authentic. The "agency" as well as the "breeder" get extremely pushy and say the money needs to be sent immediately or ASAP. The "breeder" plays off of your emotions to try to get you to send the money to the "agency". They say things like "my wife is sick and I can't tell her because she will be upset and cry." They go on about hospital bills they have to pay so you are the one who has to pay that money. The "breeder" will play it off like he is surprised at all the issues that are arising from this process and claim that he's been using this agency for years. He will send you proof that he is not scamming you, like sending a picture of their "wife's" license. The "breeder" will even say that he is trying to come up with at least part of the money if you can come up with the rest so the puppy can be delivered to you. The "breeder" will even use the puppy's name that you gave him when communicating with you. You can fight it all you want but when you refuse long enough, the "agency" will stop responding to you're communications. Once the responses stop, and you go on the website for the "agency" the site account is suspended and the phone number for the "agency", (470) 839-5024, will be disconnected. If you inform the "breeder" of this, he will tell you he doesn't know what happened and tell you he'll go to the agency tomorrow and find out what is going on and where the puppy is. If you ask the "breeder" for the address and phone number that he has for the agency he will send you his "home address" (which, if you look it up, is a foreclosed house that is on the market). When you tell him you didn't want his address, you wanted the name for the company, he'll send you the address he originally gave you that is the address he uses for his breeding business. Then when you specify again that you want the address for the shipping agency, that's when the responses stop.
