I received a call today, April 26, 2021 through my cell phone from a man identifying himself as a Custom's Agent at the Custom's office. He said that he has intercepted a package from Publishers Clearinghouse containing $250,000 in cash and needed some information from me. I asked for his phone number and his custom's badge. He gave his badge number as 34536 and his phone number as 815-527-8432 and his name as Peter Philly. I told him I am not expecting such a package and not a member of publisher's clearinghouse and that I would like to call him back to verify with his supervisor about this call. I did not give any other information. He then hung up and I tried the number back and it goes straight to a message system with no identification.
