I have a netspend prepaid acct on 08/30/2016 a business name Anchor House Financial drafted 199.00 from my acct I use this netspend acct for my paychecks and federal Tax refund I have called this place and they said that someone was using there info I contacted netspend filed a dispute and was told that I cant get my money back because there was no error found so this means that netspend is no a secured company as well if they can allow some to take my from my acct and didnt have an issue..when I spoke with Ryan he said that I was out of luck then was transfered to the automated system

Anchor House Financial needs to be shut down before they take anyone else's money. The company advertises that they can help you find a rental house or a house that you can rent to own, by you paying them about $200 and then them providing you with a list of homes that are allegedly in pre-forclosure. You then send those homes a letter to see if they'd be interested in allowing you to rent/rent to own their home and we were told that for every 10-15 letters we send out, we would get one or two responses. We've sent out over 50 and have had no responses. We were also promised a full refund if we didn't find a house through them, so having no luck with the supposed process, we called for a refund and were told we had to receive 5 rejection letters from homeowners that we've sent letters to. This was not explained to us at the beginning of the process. Upon further investigation, those who have gotten 5 rejection letters are not getting their money back either and many of those houses on the "pre-forclosure" list are not really in pre-forclosure. So, we are going through a false process, sending letters to homes not in pre-forclosure and we can't even get our money refunded. This is straight thievery and everything they say is a lie. These people need to be shut down immediately.

I went on craigslist.com to look for apartments. I came across one

particular listing with a phone number. I called the phone number on

Monday, February 1 at 1:30 and they said it was Anchor House

Financial. In order to be put in the database I needed to pay a $199

fee. The lady, Cynthia,told me that it was refundable. I gave my

debit card information over the phone and my card was charged on

wednesday, the 3rd. I called the number on thursday the 4th to get

my money refunded and Cynthia put me on hold. Eventually I was hung

up on.

Consumer received a letter in the mail from an "Anchor House Financial" stating that their home was in pre- foreclosure & they needed to contact them immediately. The consumer knew this was a scam automatically given the fact their house was paid with cash in full.
