I entered the website for the state of Colorado to renew my license plate in my browser (Bing). The scamming company had the top position listed by my browser and I unknowingly clicked on it and began entering information to pay the renewal. At the bottom of the screen where I had entered my credit card information, I saw that I would be paying a monthly fee (around $10-15) but it was not for the renewal amount the state of Colorado indicated. Then I saw I was on the wrong website. I immediately closed the browser. However, I am now getting daily emails reminding me I have not completed my payment. I don't know if my credit card information was retained on the website, but they obviously have my email address. There has been no activity on the credit card, but I am angry that a company is allowed to misdirect someone like that!

I got online to renew my DMV registration. I did a search for the website. BIG MISTAKE. I didn't realize I was on the WRONG website, so, I entered all my personal info at each prompt...including my bank a/c info. It took my bank a/c info; however, after I hit submit it kept telling me there was an issue & wouldn't let me go on to renew the registration. So, I looked closer at the DMV registration renewal document I had received in the mail & realized I wasn't on the correct website. My bank, Wells Fargo, IMMEDIATELY sent me an email & text notification regarding the $10.95 transaction (that was attempted) as being fraudulent & also declined it. So...because I wasn't vigilant --- and because there are evil people in this world that don't want to work to make a living like the rest of us --- instead they spend their time SCAMMING people --- I had to close my bank card & have a new one issued.

I'm telling you this so you can pass this on to the DMV &/or other potential victims of this crime. So, so annoying as this not only compromises my personal information --- it also affects my future autopayments scheduled to come out. Not to mention I'll be without a debit card for several days while I await the new card. Please get the word out --- and remind people to be VIGILANT. Thank you for your time & all you do.

The payment info that showed up associated with the attempted charge to my bank account was www.AMVSo ---- please take them down. They appear to be fraudulent.

I strongly urge people to stay away from this company. I was trying to get onto my local DMV to print a copy of my car registration. AMVS popped up with ads that implied I could use their service for this purpose. The sign up fee was 50 cents. I made the mistake of signing up and could not print my car registration. Then much later I discovered they had been billing my credit card $10.95 per month without my permission. I could only get a partial refund when I cancelled. As far as I'm concerned, they are unethical and fraudulent. Stay away from them!

Deceitful scammers. You come across this website when you go to renew your car's registration. You pay for what you think is a renewal and then you keep getting charged 10.95 every month. Avoid.

My grandma needed a replacement registration card. She said that she found her she could get it for 50 cents but her card wasn't working. I let her use mine only to find out that it charges you monthly after the 24 hours. Okay no problem I'll just log in and cancel it. When I had the wrong password it told me wrong password but now that she reset it and I have the right one it just says 401 unauthorized. So I can't log in to stop the membership and when I call there 1-800 number which is the same number that I got from my bank they say that they can't take our call right now. Still fighting this mess at the moment.

My aunt was contacted and told to visit the website listed above. Apparently it claimed itself to be a DMV website but our local DMVs website is not that same website. 50 cents were charged form her account and she got a text from the bank asking if it was fraudulent and we think so. On the line with the bank to resolve this
