I recently received a letter and a check from supposedly secret shopper program with specific instructions on what to do with the money once I deposited the check in my account. In the back of my mind I knew something was off about this whole thing and after doing some checking online sure enough I was right. I just hope these ppl can be caught and brought to justice.

I recently received a check and letter with specific instructions to buy a certain number of American Express gift cards and apply 500 dollars to each one and retain the remaining balance after my purchase as compensation for completion of the instructions listed in the letter. I hope they catch these people that are running these scams on innocent unsuspecting citizens and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law. Like the old saying goes. If it sounds too good to be true then it most likely is so beware. I'm sharing my story along with a photo of the check and letter I received however my name is co erred on the check for my protection.
