I was online searching for a loan. We had talked every day for the last week and a half. I got involved with America's Loan Company. Jerry, the head loan officer was working to increase my credit score from Transunion. They told me to go to Walmart and buy three Walmart Money cards for $500, $500 and $450. I paid for them with my Visa bank debit card. I activated the cards. The clerk didn't ask me why I was buying the card. On Columbus Day, he called to say he wanted me to get money. I said my bank is closed. He has an accent Jamaican/British. Last week they made a deposit into my bank account. And the bank froze my account. I'm 72 and on Social Security. I live alone.

My husband was trying to get a loan to purchase a house. He came to me and we did the research. The person told him he had to pay an application/loan fee of 250 dollars and accepted it through cash app. He gave his cash app tag as $somuchmore5. When my husband tried to pay through my cash app we got a warning that there was reason to believe this was a scam. I cancelled the transfer and began doing research. None of the addresses he provided or the phone number he called from was verified in anything I looked up. Also, he sent certificates of different kinds to try to convince us that he was legitimate. I could not find anything, not even on the ScamPulse.com website, that the company he referred to exist.
