Received fax at business on 5/8/16 from American Yellow Group Inc, Outsourced Billing Department, Bulgaria, Varna 9002, PO Box 83, fax 888-429-1666. No reply phone number, email or website on invoice. It is an invoice dated 5/6/16 #748195, with reference to a “2/3/2015;pending invoice for twelve months COLLECTION WARNING”. The invoice is for $498.95 for a 1 year listing or $789.95 for a 2 year listing, which includes Facebook and Twitter. Above the payment stub is a note "This file is referred to DEBT COLLECTORS, INC". There is also a note on the invoice stating, "Last change to protect your credit score in good standing!!!". The remit instructions include, "needs international postage!" There is a logo at the top middle of a hand with 2 fingers "walking" on an open book.

American Yellow Group, Inc. is constantly faxing stating that they are a debt collector and that we are past due on an invoice. However the remit payment goes to a PO Box in Bulgaria. Saying that we owe for Facebook and Twitter. We have never done business with this company.

They have faxed a False Invoice, stating this company owes for an order that has nothing to do with us. This has a "COLLECTIONS WARNING" on it stating "LAST CHANCE TO PROTECT YOUR CREDIT SCORE IN GOOD STANDING!!!" This is nothing we have ever contracted for or requested. They are using the old Yellow Pages symbol, fingers across the open book.

05/04/2016 - We received a fax three times within one hour. It was a fake invoice for a yellow pages advertisement. It stated that the invoice had been turned over to a collection agency and asked that payment be sent to Bulgaria.

Someone with a foreign accent call our business and wanted to up date their records. They already had everything correct anyway. With in five minutes we received a fax telling us we owed them $498.95. Also on the fax is states"Collection Warning" This file is referred to DEBT COLLECTORS, INC.

Received a delinquent fake invoice in the amount of $498.95. They are also using the "Yellow Books" Image as their logo. Looked online and other ScamPulse.com websites have also reported about the fake invoice and not to pay. I have attached a sample of what we received. I also blocked out our business name and address.

You can add Florida to your list of states receiving fax's from American Yellow Group Inc. demanding payment being sent to Bulgaria. They are sending to a company that has not been in existence since 2007. *** *** closed the doors many years ago. I get 5 to 10 faxes every time they send them. Very Very aggravating when I can not tell them to stop.

Started to receive "collection warning" invoices from American Yellow Group Inc. by fax. Received a total of 8 with the same invoice number on them for 2 different phone numbers and locations of our business. I remember getting these before and found a story on here from back in February 2015 about these. The original date on the invoices I received today are date mania3, 2015.

We recieved an email fax from Americal Yellow Group out of Bulgaria stating we were going to collections for or listing of Bayview Wesleyan Church. I have attached the image of the document.

The fax stated we had to send $498 to Bulgaria. We did not send money. We just wanted you to be aware that Traverse City, Michigan is also being targeted.

Our company was faxed an invoice from American Yellow Group Inc. from Bulgaria Varna 9002, PO Box 83. The invoice said it was a collection warning and Pending invoice for twelve months. At the top was a logo of the walking fingers similar to the Yellow Pages. We have never done business with "American Yellow Group" and the invoice is fraudulent, states that $498.95 is payable immediately and to send a check to American Yellow Group Inc. in Bulgaria. We have never done business, spoke to or contacted "American Yellow Group" and this is a false invoice and appears to be a scam of some type directed to small business owners. At first glance, the faxed invoice appears to be from the Yellow Pages, but once you read it, you realize it is not from that company at all, but from someone who is using a very similar logo. This is a scam to get people to write out checks for a false invoice for services never requested or received. We have also reported this scam to the FTC.

Our business received a fax invoice from the American Yellow Group Inc. stating our account is in collection status and we owe them $498.95 for one year of service. also references Facebook and Twitter features. They are demanding payment as a last chance to protect our credit score. Shows billing department is in Bulgaria, Varna and give no other contact info. We DID NOT contract with them for anything at any time. This is a scam.

We were faxed and invoice claiming that this was our last chance to protect our credit score and keep it in good standing.

It claimed to be a collection warning for pending invoices for the last twelve months for Facebook and Twitter features for the Yellow Pages.

There was no phone number listed, just a fax number of 888-429-1666.

They wanted a cheque mailed out.
