This gentleman has called several times over the course of a year from different numbers for different charities (I can't remember names, just one is for Police, one for Fire Fighters). Whenever I asked to be removed from the list, he gets super rude and sarcastic. I can never call back, as the automatic recording just says to try another time.

Asked for me, I said this is

Introduced as someone from AmVets and asked if I'd be willing to help our vets, I said yes.

Sounded as if I was on a recoded line, told the caller it sounded as if it was recorded.

He continued with his script asking how much I'd like to donate. I said to send a blank packet.

"We don't do that"", you have to pick $15, $25, or $50"

I said none, send me a blank one.

Then I heard a couple clicks then what sounded like a recorded voice, i hung up then.

I was called this morning (844-228-8345) by someone soliciting donations for veterans. The entire conversation was very weird and disturbing: I had the definite sense they were trying to obtain my personal information (which I did not provide). I worry that they may succeed in duping others, however, so please look into this seemingly fraudulent organization.
