I was calling HP for help with my computer. I looked up the phone number only to have the wrong number to come up on my IPad. The tech named Brian Smith sounded like a tech who knew what he was doing. I had him clean my computer only to be charged 399.99 for a lifetime and I could transfer the membership.I never had any icons added to my computer. We tried a payment on PayPal only my credit card was rejected and I refused to give my social security number and yearly income. Brian Smith did not know what he was doing. Everything was dropped and much to my surprised without permission my credit card was charged 399.99 which I did not authorize. My credit card company is fighting the fee. When I finally reached HP I told the tech what happened and he told me they are scammers.With HP I paid 45.00 for malware bytes to clean m’y computer and then 105.00 for 3 years with McAfee. In the meantime I and my brother are being harassed by Brian Smith. He calls my house and leaves several messages. My brother was helping me and he is getting harassed also. A woman called last week saying she is from HP and we know that is a lie. I have called my local police department to file a report.They go by two names American Technologies and Professional Technology Assistance .
