I've been buying from this company for over 10 years. I placed my recent order with "Bill" over the phone. 1 month after taking my money - still no soap. Then I got an update with a tracking code. They shipped it to a different State (wrong address) and refuse to acknowledge my e-mails. Customer Service has gone down the toilet. Looks like I will need to contact my Bank to reverse the charge on this one. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !

UPDATE: Bill has since told me to go ahead and file a case in small claims court. I will be filing for the FULL product charge plus $1200 in travel costs to/from Denver to get the job done.

BE WARNED! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! The company is a fake business. The only employee we believe to work here is a guy named Bill Groves. He will take your money but will NOT produce the goods. On April 21, 2017 I had reached out to American Soap Company in regards to a private label inquiry for body washes. After several phone calls and email exchanges, our company decided to place our first order with American Soap Company through a sales representative named Bill Groves (Email: [email protected]). Our invoice amounted to $3975.00 and Mr. Groves required us to pay the full amount before we received the order. He stated that this is our first time doing business together and that it's required by his company in order to proceed with manufacturing the body washes. On May 17, 2017, we wired our balance of $3975.00 to the company's business account and was informed by Mr. Grove, "We are estimating that your order will ship within 45 days, likely sooner." During this period of time, we requested Mr. Groves to produce a Certificate of Free Sale for our company in order to export it overseas. It took us numerous attempts before we finally received it from him. I should've have known then that American Soap Company was not a legitimate company because of their lack of knowledge regarding the documents we requested. On July 21, 2017, I had become increasingly frustrated. Communication was slow between Mr. Groves and our company and our order was still not ready. When I tried to call American Soap Company through their main customer service line, it would go to voicemail. I was never able to speak to anyone else but Mr. Bill and this leads me to to the conclusion that this is a one-man show where Mr. Groves is the sole employee. We sent this email on July 21, 2017 - I've tried to reach you on several occassions through the company's office. Is there any one working at customer service at the moment? Please call me when you have a chance. I am available after 1 pm PST today. Thanks for your prompt help. To which Mr. Groves finally responsed; "Jennifer, I have attached the executed CFS for your review. Let me know if you need anything additional on this. We have been here and should have received your calls. We have double checked the phone system and it seems to be working properly. We had held up activities waiting for the ingredients approval which now seems to have been just a miscommunication between us. Apologies. Then, we had to order the 75 gallon drums which are expected to arrive mid to late next week. We will process your washes immediately after they are here. Bill." On August 1, 2017 - we did not hear any further updates regarding our order. I sent this email, "Hi Bill, This is my last time I am attempting to contact you. If we do not hear from you we are going to escalate this matter. Thank you.." His response following my email - "Jennifer, I had sent an email just prior to your last email, indicating that we were waiting for the 75 gallon drums to arrive. We were just informed that they will be here tomorrow. We will begin filling in the next couple of days. I will update on Thursday. Thanks, Bill." On August 4, 2017, Mr. Groves replied to our email regarding our order status (again, after several attempts he would finally reply) "Jennifer, We have received the 75 Gallon Containers for your project. We have scheduled final QC testing for Monday and Tuesday. With QC complete we will fill the containers on Wednesday and project that shipment will occur on Friday or the following Monday. Please convey to your attorney this schedule and indicate that a formal response to his letter will be issued next week. Bill." On August 14, 2017 after STILL not receiving our order. We were told by Mr. Groves, "Jennifer, Problems continue. We ran 3 different QC trials and it seems that something in the 75 Gallon drum is despoiling the wash product. These drums are from a new supplier and we are assessing alternatives now and will report same shortly. Bill." Our response - "Bill, Your delays are concerning us as this has been three months now since the initial order back in May. What is more worrisome are the complaints on your ScamPulse.com company profile. I hope you can understand why it makes me hesitant to continue this order with you. At this time, we need a more exact time for when we can receive the order. Our patience is running out. Sincerely, Jennifer Chung" On August 23, 2017 - Mr. Groves finally got back to our numerous emails requesting updates. "Jennifer, Yes, there is an update. We have received 'sample size" containers from 3 different suppliers to test the body wash reaction to them. The testing takes about 72 hours to complete. We will report progress then. Bill" Our response to him on August 23, 2017 "You need to give us an update on when we can expect the order. It's delay after delay. As I mentioned in my last email to you which you did not reply, Your delays are concerning us as this has been three months now since the initial order back in May. What is more worrisome are the complaints on your ScamPulse.com company profile. I hope you can understand why it makes me hesitant to continue this order with you. At this time, we need a more exact time for when we can receive the order. Our patience is running out." Since August 23, 2017, our company has tried on many, MANY occasions to get in touch with Mr. Groves and the American Soap Company in regards to refunding our order since they were not able to produce the goods for us. We are very frustrated to see that we are not the only ones to be scammed by this company. We are unable to get our money back nor receive the goods we purchased. We will be pursuing legal action.
