American Rewards Financier Reports & Reviews (1)

When we were in Mexico we were scammed by two men who offered to buy our timeshare condo from us. We were talked into paying money to them as government regulated taxes. Needless to say we were totally scammed. Then we got a phone call from Douglas Martinez who claimed to be after these two men as they were wanted by the law...supposedly. Then came an email. We didn't pay any attention to him then. Later we got numerous phone calls about this matter saying that he would get our money back. Last phone call came Sunday, April 20th during which he said that everything was going well. That he had a lawyer who would handle refunding our money. then he said that the lawyer needed $900.00 to do this. When I refused he threatened to have me blacklisted with the government....which government I don't know!!

His phone number doesn't respond. The contact on the website for this company doesn't allow you to send a message and their phone number listed doesn't answer.

Looks like this is a total fraud.

The money he referred to refunding was just the money paid to supposedly cover government taxes on realestate transactions in Mexico. We were scammed out of much more to the original two men mentioned at the beginning of this report. I think they are all liked together in some scheme or other.
