I am the *** ** * *** *** in Illinois on 12/18/18 our office accepted and signed for a package delivered by UPS for one of our tenants. We signed for the package because the UPS driver could not locate the tenant by knocking on her apartment door. The driver brought the package into our office and asked if we would sign? Customarily we do this all the time for our residents so when they come home their package is available. Unfortunately, the tenant we signed for did not order two wrist immobilizers or the back brace that the package contained. We taped the box back up and are going to try to get UPS to understand we should not have accepted the package. I contacted the ScamPulse.com in the Peoria, IL office and spoke with a representative and she explained how I could file a complaint against this company because it truly is a scam to get money out of Medicare/Medicaid. I am sharing this information so others will not be scammed by this type of fraud. We tax payers are the ones being bilked out of millions of dollars to these con artist. The company I am referring to goes by C/O American Medical Products, Michelle Medical Solutions, Inc. 151 Industrial Way East, Eatontown, NJ 07724. We at the housing authority have changed our ways we will no longer sign for a package for a resident unless we personally speak to that resident and get verbal permission to sign for their package.
