Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief
I used the 800 number, but "senior analyst" was quick to give me his direct line. In retrospect, he was much too helpful to be a federal worker. He directed me to get the Federal Student Aid account information so that we could get needed loan info. I foolishly copied the loan info and email to him. Then I was transferred to a senior loan advisor. My son was of course qualified for total loan forgiveness.
Then came the discussion of he processing fee that was discounted to $999 or 3 monthly installments. How violated I feel!
