I keep receiving calls asking for me to pledge to help various charities. Last night, the charity was American Disabled Veterans Association. Once before the charity was a police officers association, and there was another before that that I can't recall. When I look up the organizations in Google or CharityNavigator, I don't see listings for these organizations. When I attempt to call these phone numbers, the call cannot be completed. They seem to be using the same phone script because, when I ask to be removed from their list, the spiel is the same. These factors lead me to believe this is unlawful. Thanks!
