apparently NOT Amazon. This man told my asked my son if he filled out his paperwork for his company. He said no and was puzzled by this(he filled out paperwork for Amazon and took a drug test) because other applicants had already received a schedule, pay and benefits package. He asked the man if he could fill it out today. He said yes and gave him an address in Hamtramck MI. My son went there and could only knock on a window not a door. A woman was irritated that he was there. She wanted his SSN Card which he was told he didn’t need because he had his passport and his drivers license. She took them both and made copies. She then handed him a stack of papers to fill out; all this while standing outside. He took the papers and asked if he could come in and fill them out. She said no, fill them out in your car. The first few were standard forms. Then the regulations for the company were provided. It included that they driver would be responsible to deliver a certain number of packages per day. The drivers were not allowed to make any stops and if they needed use of the bathroom they would have to urinate in a bottle and keep in in the vehicle until the end of the shift when it would be removed by the driver. If not removed they would be fined and docked pay. If they didn’t deliver the said amount of packages they would be fined, docked pay and suspended. It then stated if for some reason they applicant left before 90 days they would be responsible for the cost of the drug test and driving test. (At this point he assumed he was already hired for employment by/through Amazon.) The paperwork had a different address on it, misspellings and white outs. My son was told by Amazon he’d be working for them, but then he was turned over to this other delivery company called American Delivery Service. When he got there the name on the building said Shondhan Driving School. Upon further investigation we found no business in Michigan named American Delivery Service. Any info about the driving school named on the building had stories that made this business sound like a rip off or scam. My son returned the paperwork to the woman through the window without filling them all out.
