Said collecting for PayPal and referenced a fake PayPal account number. Asked for payment to be made to American Coradius International rather than PayPal or the original creditor.

This company sent me a letter claiming I owe a debt of $52.24 to PayPal. Called PayPal and was assured that no matching amount appears in my history and that my account is in good standing with a zero balance. These people should be prosecuted.

Received a letter from American Coradius International LLC (phone and address below) stating my account with Paypal had been placed in their office for collection in the amount of USD 57.73.
Looks legit, but I don't have an account with PayPal and certainly don't owe them anything.

They called for someone that does not or has never lived here. I told them they had the wrong number but they called back using a different phone number. I don't have any outstanding debts and tired of them calling the wrong number (mine) and being persistent by calling back after I told them that person has not ever lived here or had that phone number. That phone number has been mine for a looooong time (47 years).
