Continually call me. When I ask to be put on do not call, they hang up. I just asked about the company name and they told me American Auto Shield, when I asked if they had a website, he said [censored] you and hung up on me.

The caller claimed to be with American auto shield but the incoming phone number was a local cellphone number thus indicating that the call was false. I am in TX and this company is based put of CO. I don't have a car warranty that they could be saying is about to expire nor have I received any communication in the mail as they claim.

I bought a car and this company search public records and called me. They tried to tell me that i needed to extend my warranty or I would be breaking and it would end as soon as hanging up. They immediately started threatening and using words that I had done something wrong in order to pressure me into putting down a deposit . Saying that i was going to be flagged and it was told to me when I bought a car. When I told them no they continued and said I didn't understand and bad things were going to happen. I told yhem that they were causing me stress and that I would take a number and call back and that I thought this was the worse call and customer service I had ever experienced and wanted to go . He refused and continued on that I was wrong and needed to do what they said. I said let me talk to a manager. She came on and told me her name, I think Mira, and proceeded right where the other guy left off. I tried to tell her that he was being threatening and that I wanted to call back after I talked to my brother in law. She said that the other guy was her best seller and been working there for 18 years. She continued to yell at me and tell me that i was not listening and over talking her

and that the minute I hung up she would red flag my vin number. She said I needed to listen only to her and that they would only talk to me and no one else. At this time my mother who was listening to the whole thing stated to call my brother in law. Mira continued to tell at me and said that when I have a car note I had to have a warranty like it was required and I was doing something bad. I told her I had full coverage insurance and that was all that was required. She then got even more angry and said that she would cancel everything and I would be flagged and in default. I tried to tell her to hold on and needed someone else to explain this to me on why I was so wrong. And asked her to hold on. At this time I had my brother in law on the line and she heard me talking to him. She started yelling and said is canceling and flagging and then she hung up on me.

Never had I had such a horrible conversation from a solicitor. Threatening yelling and pressuring into trying to buy their product through using words that made it sound I would go into default and I was breaking some contract that didn't even exist. They should be shut down . Forever. And I hope more people report them. I have never reported someone bit this was exceptional. And I hope no one ever has to talk to this company. Ever.
