American Auto Shield LLC (under Carshield powered by MEPCO) is utterly undeniable a SCAM!! I have been paying faithfully for 7 months the sum of $129.99 to a company who is not even trying to help at all just giving a run around. My SUV( bought used) has been sitting at the shop for 5 months now. I was contacted by the shop a few weeks ago that there were shavings in the motor. and they were waiting for American Shield to send someone out to start the adjustment. 8-4-2021 someone finally shows and according to shop there was something wrong with ballbearings according to American Auto Shield LLC adjustor. the shop agreed. today 8-5-2021 is when I get contacted from shop saying American Auto Shield wants proof of other repairs.. What repairs? the oil was changed by me twice since I had the SUV once Dec 20,2020 and again March 13 2021 so again, how can I provide something on something I did myself? Seriously who would think about keeping a $2.30 each time they purchased oil from dollar store receipt to fax off at a later date? who would think to even keep that small amount of notation of information around from so long ago ? This is American Shield LLC request is of me. then I was told from an agent that I have 2 options either try and provide receipts or see if the shop would agree the part being shipped out and that id be just liable for the labor and repair. The shop and I agreed now American Shield LLC is saying before the can do anything as far as shipping part out I still need to show receipts of repairs. this is very absurd if I could show a receipt then why would I need to be liable for any of the cost? They are refusing to give me money money back due to my month to month contract that as they say COVERED ME.. they haven't covered a thing and trying to keep all of my money. If I would have know this is what it would was going to come to ( ME PAYING FOR EVERYTHING!!!) I COULD'VE PUT THE MONEY THEY FAITHFULLY TOOK EVERY MONTH SINCE FEBURARY TOWARDS GETTING MY VECHILE FIXED ON MY OWN. SO BASICALLY THEY JUST STOLEN MY MONEY AND REFUSING TO PAY HELL I EVEN TOLD THEM THEY COULD KEEP THE TOWING AND BOOST FEE JUST SEND ME THE REST OF MY MONEY, THAT CONTRACT DID NOT COVER ANYTHING. A DEMAND OF REFUND IS NEEDED ASAP1111
