I took my car in to be looked at and repaired. I was referred by a co-worker so I wasn't very cautious. As I was explaining the issues I was having with said car- I was cut off by this mechanic- and told to give my information. I was told he would look at it and get back to me. Im thinking "great, this man is a professional and does not want to hear what I, (a young female) think is wrong with the car. He clearly has the situation under control." Wrong. The next day I get a call stating everything I had mentioned was fine! I just needed to replace my clutch. Great right! So he "fixes" it- 900$ later I am on my way to work the next morning, only for my check engine light to turn on right away. Upon calling this man, he informs me that he had "no idea" my check engine light was on (it was on when I brought it in). When I brought it back it turns out there is a major issue that has nothing to do with the "repairs" he has done- and all the other maintenance I have requested were also ignored. So now my car is in worse shape than when I brought it in. And I am also unable to afford the needed repairs. A whole scam.
