Got my first Instagram message from my dad ever, today. Scammer pretended to be my father referring me to the American Hope Resources Commission led by former Attorney General Loretta Lynch. Repeatedly asked if I had texted her using the number he gave me so I could apply for a grant. Told me he got $100,000 in cash from the organization and that Loretta Lynch would help me to do the same. I took screen shots of it all. Informed the scammer I was reporting it to authorities. Scammer responded to that with, "Hissses." Bad spelling and grammar was a dead giveaway that it was an imposter. Likely foreign or ESL if American. Very forceful and predatory-like condict. I never texted the number.
