I ordered three different items from Amer Safe, for a total of roughly $150. I received a shipping email from them on April 15th 2021. Since then, there have been no updates and I have not received my items. When you attempt to track the order, it says that "Pre shipping information has been sent to our facility" but the items were never shipped. I have sent three emails to them with no response, and I have attempted to call several times but it goes straight to voice-mail and then tells you the voice-mail box is full. I am filing for a refund through my credit card.

I placed an order for one of the three products that they sell on 03/27/2021 through a Facebook ad. The product is a mask that they claim can be used for paintball, airsoft, motorcycle riding, etc. I planned on simply wearing it when riding my bicycle.

I asked to make sure that the lenses that I was going to receive were tinted as I was not sure if they would be clear or tinted. I sent the email shortly after I placed my order and it was answered on 03/29/2021, despite the claim of 24/7 customer service (This has since changed to 8:00AM to 10:00PM on the site, although on their contact page it says 8:00AM to 5:00PM EST). Everything seemed okay at first as I also received a couple of follow up emails letting me know that if I placed any additional orders within a set time frame I would receive a discount (Both of them to let me know that I could receive 20% my order if placed before 4/4/2021).

I sent an email on 4/3/2021, a week later, asking for an update about my order, had it been shipped and if so what the tracking number was. Their site still says that they have "EXPRESS SHIPPING (48 HOUR GUARANTEE)" and it had been much longer than I had expected (I expected 48 business hours so as late as Wednesday for them to have shipped their product. I was answered almost 48 hours later "This weekend the orders were prepared and sent to the shipping department all orders with delays, already today or tomorrow you must have the confirmation of your shipment in your email inbox, keep in mind that holidays does not update the tracking." Keep in mind that I don't consider April Fools Day a proper holiday to interfere with shipping.

I responded that I had ordered a week prior and was given the following response, three days after I sent my email: "good afternoon, S**** manager of the shipping department. The following message is to inform the small delay in the shipment of the orders due to the high demand for orders. Our warehouse has already received your orders and they are being prepared to be shipped while I write this message for you. Please note that we understand your concern, but there is nothing to worry about. With complete certainty no later than Thursday and your order will be at the door of your house. Maybe sooner, but I want to prevent delays for the coming weekend. Without more to add, other than my sincere apologies for the delay on behalf of the company, we want to thank you again for trusting and helping the growth of this company.

Thank you and we appreciate your patience."

I attempted to clarify what they meant as it was a Thursday that I received the email. I did not get a response from the. I sent another email on 4/9/2021 informing that I knew that this was a small operation that was based out of a luxury apartment in the city where they are located and that I was just looking for some honesty.

About seven hours later I received: "Hello! The shipping process has already started, in a few hours you should have an update in your email. Send DHL express!" It was signed by another person. Mind you that this was the last contact that I have had with the company. They have not responded to any of my emails since, two more emails on 4/15/2021 and 4/19/2021, or any phone calls that I have made. There has been no contact from them whatsoever.

The company is owned by another company, Blue Ocean USA, LLC, who has two officers that live at the same luxury apartment that Amer Safe is located. I have asked for a full refund, and have not heard anything from them. I noticed that two other people from Facebook, about three weeks ago, have also gone through the same problem with them.
