I searched for a house in Irvine for October and November on Craigslist, and someone reached out to me saying that they had available the flat at * *** Irvine, California, ZIP code 92614. They said that the whole property was available for let at $ 850 including bills, plus the same amount for security deposit. They made me fill in a form with some information in it like address, phone and email, but nothing more personal than that. After this, they sent me a lease agreement - see attached - which specified the terms and conditions, the address of the property, and the prices.

They asked, given that I was a student and that the rent is short-term, that I paid the whole amount ($ 2550) in advance, which I paid.

Afterwards, I saw the same property advertised in other posts online, for a different price and with some of the pictures that the people sent me.
