I got a call from Amazon advising me my account has been compromised and there were charges on my account in the amount of $21,000.00. He said he was the VP of Amazon and his name was James Morris; he texted me his profile. He gave me an employee ID#ANZ2006. His phone number was 206-567-7806. He told me not to hang up as the scammers are tracking me. He made me go to Target and get gift cards in the amount of $2,500.00 and said he was cleaning up my account and that I would be reimbursed by Amazon for the charges. He was very persuasive and insisted he was the VP of Amazon and he is just trying to help me. I got a text from Wells Fargo stating my account was credited by Amazon, but it was never credited. He even called me back the next morning and said he was still working on my account. He kept asking me why I do not believe him. He even called me from the Amazon Help Desk #888-280-4331. He kept telling me don't hang up.

I believed him and did what he told me to do. I got $2,500 in Target Gift cards and he activated them over the phone. So, two things, when ever an individual tells you "Don't hang up" and "I am trying to help you". Don't believe them. I want James Morris to know he is being used by this individual to scam people.
