Amazon Fraud said that criminal activity in my name, and that there are 18 bank accts in my name and my social security number is compromised.

Scammer informed me that someone used my Amazon account to purchase a product and set up a new credit card using my name. Then reported post office and border patrol investigations into packages sent by me. After changing agents, we got to the scam: have you opened any bank accounts recently ? At this point I said, I am not going to give you any bank account information, they hung up.

I keep receiving phone calls with messages to contact the Amazon fraud department regarding the fraudulent purchase of an iPhone for $350. I doubled checked my account, no orders had been placed, and both had no alerts received from the credit card company regarding recent purchases.
