Received call from (678) 916-5546 telling me they were from Amazon customer service and that someone from Canada tried to purchase a gift card using my Amazon account, they ask my name to check my account. I gave my name but not my account. They told me I needeed to download an app from the playstore to prevent use of my account. At that time I hanged up. I called the real Amazon Customer Service and verified that it was not them and that they had no record of someone purchasing a gift card on my account. Definitely a scam.
