I was searching for a Shiba Inu after settling in to a new home during these crazy times and came across this site. I found many sites that were obviously a scam and this one stood out as less of a scam since there was a phone number readily available. Where the shenanigans began was in the email string that followed my inquiry. For the most part, it seemed ok, asking questions to ensure the safety of the puppy etc. I answered ambiguously to test and almost immediately got an email back saying I was a perfect candidate, in far worse grammar than the first email and mismatched fonts throughout (most certainly a template). The final nail in the coffin was the fact that they included extra images of the dog I was interested in, but failed to remove the name of the real breeder from the background- the real breeder is in a different state with different personal names. This would have cost me at minimum 950.00 had I just gone for it.
