This website "amazingbichonfrise.com" offers Bichon Frise dogs for sale for a good price. Yesterday (3/30/2021), I picked out a dog and sent them half the price ($410) via Zelle from my bank. I communicated with him through his email address and called and texted him with him through his phone number. He identified himself as "James".

I then searched for fraudulent activity and found another website called "familybichonfrise.com" that has identical web content (dog photos and descriptions) and a slightly different mailing address and phone number in the same town. This other mailing address is "4020 Main St, Williamson, NY 14589" and this other phone number is 315-683-7582. This other website is listed on BBB.com with the unresolved complaint https://www.bbb.org/us/ny/williamson/profile/dog-breeders/family-bichon-frise-00...⇄ />
After reading that complaint, I now think my experience is a scam.
