This company is calling and trying to get information based off information the have from your credit history. The Caller ID says AM CENT INVESTMENTS. They called my Aunt looking for me or my deceased Grandfather. We only had one account together, which no longer exists, but the still had information that linked us. This must be from my Credit History. When I called, the first time it was a vague automated system that does not say the name of the company then put me to voicemail, which had no information given. I called back later and the reprersentitve was secretive about who they were. They refuse to tell you who they are and why they're calling with out giving them unreasonable personal information. The representative flat out refused to clearly state the name of the business and if they were a Debt collection agency. "I will not disclose any information about our company to you" was the response to me asking flat out "are you debt collectors". This is a huge red flag. I believe they are a fraudulent company looking, at the least, to gain personal information from me fraudulently.
