On April 17, 2020, I paid the seller $300 over the Facebook Marketplace for an iPhone XR. We are in different states so the seller offered to ship the phone. However, as soon as I paid the $300, the seller blocked my Facebook account so I could not contact her. I texted a number I was given to address this and upon looking the number up on Whitepages, this number was not legit and was a Skype number instead to which I also received no reply. I gave the seller the benefit of the doubt for a few days, then made a second Facebook account where I saw that the seller was attempting to sell the same phone that I paid for to another woman. I messaged the seller on this second account that I was now aware this was a scam and wanted my full $300 refund, to which the seller blocked my second account. It is now May 13, 2020 and I still have not received the iPhone that I rightfully paid for and have no way of contacting the seller. It is obvious that this was the seller’s plan all along to scam me.
