Received a telephone call from a person using the name Lisa Gates claiming to be a process server in Collin County (her name did not appear on the Master List of Certified Process Servers). She advised that she would be serving me legal documents between the hours of 3-5 pm at my residence and place of business (not sure how you can be in two places at the same time). She advised that there was a legal matter pending in Harris County Texas and gave me a case number. When I hung up, I reviewed the Harris County website and was unable to find the case number she referenced nor any civil filed against me. I called the number provided. The phone was answered by someone claiming to be Carl Waters with Alternative Dispute Resolutions. He asked me to verify personal information, which I refused to provide. He then said because I was not willing to provide him with my personal information that he had to disconnect the line. I conducted a search of the business Alternative Dispute Resolutions and found no company by that name in TX. I did, however, see another ScamPulse.com report filed by another person living in a completely different state who received a telephone call from this same company. The google search of the phone number provided also provided a host of other individuals they attempted to scam.
