An individual identifies himself as CEO on craigslist website. Gave him the application fees of 35.00 and deposit of 255.00 and received receipt. When asked questions on approval time & process and when room would be available for move in, he got angry and stated I needed to give more money for deposit and cursed me out. He said because I asked too questions he would not rent to me. He said he would refund my money but never did. Unable to locate him because he gives phony name, and changes phone number in craigslist ad. He is now going by EQUAL CHANCE HOUSING. It used to be Alternative Choice Leasing.

Company said I was approved for a house to rent. They asked for a deposit for $748.00, $110.00 for app fee. I asked them constantly for the address to the home, but they then said I needed 188.00 to finish the deposit, and $ 178.00 for the inspection. They said I could move in tomorrow, and he was suppose to send me an email with the address of the home and a welcome package. I never received the email, so I called them and they said they were going to refund my money, for some unknown reason. At this point I have not heard anything from anyone about the refund, or keys, or even an address.
