I had received an email from a reputable company, ********* **** ****, about an offer to try a product if I submit a survey. I clicked the link, did the survey, and chose to receive an offer from Alpha Femme Ketogenix of one bottle of their Ketogenix supplement if I pay $4.95 for shipping. Needless to say when I finished the transaction, I was charged 3 times (2 of the charges for products I hadn't given consent to purchasing): two charges for around $6.00 and one charge for around $40.00. I had immediately contacted their customer service by phone and received no answer, so I sent an email. Whomever replied told me that for me to receive a refund I need to return the product; however, I had contacted them pretty quickly, which means that the ordered had not been shipped. The day after I had called their customer service once again and spoke to a lady whom gave me the run around about why they couldn't issue a refund until I had returned the items. She also told me that the order had already been sent to the fulfillment centre. I asked her to contact the fulfillment centre to cancel the order and she replied that she could not because the order had already been sent. When I asked multiple times to speak to her manager, she became irate and hung up the phone. I am asking for this company to be investigated and shut down so that nobody else gets scammed out of their money. Before writing about my experience, I had looked them up on ********, and there were multiple people complaining about the same as well as being charged even more for recurring charges, etc. even after contacting the company for a refund and returning the products. I have to wait 15 days to dispute this with my credit card company, and I have temporarily disabled my credit card so that this company can not charge me any more money without my consent. I asked that anyone with this experience to report their page on ******** and take the time to write a review on this company to warn others.
